Single Review: Dora Noszkay 'reset'

Dora Noszkay new single 'reset' was released July 21and so just missed last weeks Dreaminisfree Recommends. If you don't know every week I create the playlist highlighting the latest artists I've discovered and fallen in love with. 'reset' was the first track on this weeks list!

Following on from her debut single 'in the morning', 'reset' is the second single to be taken from her debut LP 'i bought a synthesiser to impress some girl and all i got was this lousy album' , to be released this winter.

She has 12 monthly listeners on Spotify and no related artists and so I want to help spread the word, because this young lady has a phenomenal talent! If you're a fan of the likes of Tomberlin, Matilda Mann, Lily Moore or Dana Gavanski then you are going to love Dora's music.

Dextrous fingerpicking guitar, interwoven with synthetic beats and her trusty Microkorg, “reset” is a bittersweet arioso to the inevitable end of friendships, relationships and comfortable situations.

If there is one thing those aforementioned musicians have, it's a distinct voice and Dora has a really distinctly, beautiful tone. This girl can sing! 'in the morning' her debut single is just stunning!

Her profile on Bandcamp says she's a guitarist, synth tinkerer and singer-songwriter.

Her album title suggest that she bought the sythesizer to impress a girl? Probably one of the best purchases she'll ever make.

Go and listen to this artist!

9/10 - Heavenly synths!
