Having formed in Glasgow in April 2019 as a 3 piece, Arcade State now boasts 5 members (Ciaran , Jordan , David, Scott & Andy) and this Friday are about to release their biggest sounding track yet!
If you like your music guitar driven, full of emotion and with a hook that drags you in from the first guitar strum; then you will love 'When It Hits Home'. What's remarkable to me is that that this is only their eighth single! But seriously if you listen to their last single 'Land With Me', then you'll get why this band, if they keep plugging away are destined to be around for a very long time.
Music for me is all about the emotions that hit you when you listen. The emotion in this track is so visceral that you'd have to have a swinging brick in your chest cavity not to be moved by it; after speaking to the band about its influence then it's easy to understand why.
"When it hits home is about when you hurt somebody you really love and they are going to leave you and you realise that you can’t live without this person in your life and it hits home that your life would just not be the same without this person in your life"
