It's such a gorgeous song - where their last single 'Modern Girls' was more of indie dance floor banger, 'All For Me' is a lay back with the headphones on and allow it to allow you drift off to somewhere far more magical than the real world right now.
Yes it's a sardonic love song of the desperation for a long lost lover - for me the lyrics are part of the experience. The deliberately gentle vocals of Uschmann, that bass line that cuddles you like a fluffy cloud and those riffs that feel as if they're confetti cannons of glittery gorgeousness, all makes for something that should be enjoyed for what it is.
A soulful, heartfelt, love song.
