Single review: Crystal Tides - Monday

Updated: Jun 1, 2020

Since bursting onto the scene in 2018, Portsmouth's Crystal Tides have build up a loyal following along south coast, London and Greater London. Supporting the likes of The Snuts, Larkins and even topping the bill at Victorious Festival’s Seaside Stage.

Monday released Friday 29th May is their biggest sound to date and an impressive 10th single.

If you love indie-pop anthems, with crystal vocals and catchy guitar hooks then this is a band you need to be listening to. The fervour for their message in this song is tangible, delivered with such passion. Purely and simply, it's just a great song!

Monday is about the turning point in life where the band is starting to realise we are not as young as we used to be. We can't keep going out like we used to but there’s an internal battle you have of 'am I told old for this?” said the band before the release.

The band are scheduled to play Broadstone Festival for 2021.
