'Matter Of Time' is the second single of 2020 to drop from Manchester based singer/songwriter Jess Kemp in 2020, after her successful single 'We Were Falling' back in April.
2020 has been a bit of crappy year for many of us. COVID19, lockdown and not seeing loved ones for many months, has been a tough emotional period for a lot of us. Being in this situation for months now, has been a stark reminder as to how vital hope is to the human spirit.
'Matter of Time' is a beautiful song. It's a song that offers hope, it's about not looking at the tough times we're in but looking to the future. It's a song to remind us to keep dreaming.
"Although the song was written during University Study and the mental/physical struggles associated with that - it has been re-cut to send uplifting vibes and feelings of relief as we reach the end of a pandemic and emerge on the other side", Jess told us about the single.
2020 has reminded us of the impermanence of everything, but as with the good times; the bad times aren't here forever either. 'Matter Of Time' captures this perfectly.
