ABOUT THE BLOG

Dreaminisfree

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humour, and most importantly, your heart.

Music has always been an integral part of who I am, and having transitioned in 2012 taking the name of my musical hero Debbie Harry from Blondie (just her first name), music has been even more important to me.

Aside from the the joy of listening to music, I love being into a band and attending one of their gigs for an hour or so that feeling of oneness. It's just you; the band; and their lyrics; that's it. The thing I love about music is it's a community. It's acceptance; it's love; and it's free of judgement. Unadulterated, passionate joy for life.

Since moving to the Manchester area in 2017, I've started to attend more and more gigs, building friendships with bands, photographers, promoters and other regular gig goers. I also work as a presenter on a the UK's largest LGBTQIA+ radio station.

All of these elements have brought me to found Dreaminisfree, in March 2019.

Since then, the blog has been thriving, and has quickly gained a loyal following. I invite you to explore my site, learn about my favourite bands, singles, albums, gigs and festivals.

Music is my religion.

Enjoy.
